Ketamine anesthesia for Cardiac catheterization

Abstract

|
One hundread and eigty-eight cases of cardiac catheterization under the keiamine anesthesia were divided into 5 groups on the basis of the premedication, dosage and route of administration of ketamine.
The 5th group (Ketamine is given 3 mg/kg intramuscularly for induction and 1 mg/kg intravenously for maintenance, and premedication is pbrformed with atropin, sepamin and demerol) is superior to other groups in reducing total dosage, respiratory and cardiovascular side effects and other complications. And also it provides a good condition for examiner.
